Report a user

If you discover fraud, harassment, prohibited services, or other rule-violating use of Gigförmedlingen, we want to know.

How do I report?

Option 1: Via the platform

Most listings and profiles have a report button. Click it, choose a reason, and describe the problem.

Option 2: Via email

Send a message via the contact page with:

  • Link to the profile or listing
  • Short description of the problem
  • Any screenshots or evidence

What should I report?

  • Prohibited services - sexual services, weapons, illegal services, discrimination
  • Fraud - fake listings, fraud attempts, advance-payment scams
  • Harassment - threats, hate, sexual harassment
  • Fake profiles - identity theft, fake businesses, multi-profiles
  • Spam - repeated messages with no connection to assignments
  • Platform rule violations - sharing contact details outside assignments, manipulation

What happens after I report?

  1. We look at the report within 48 hours
  2. If the report is clear, we act immediately: remove the listing or suspend the user
  3. If the report requires more investigation, we contact you for more information
  4. We get back to you when the case is handled

Is my report anonymous?

Yes. We don't share your identity with the reported user. The only time we may need to contact you is if we need additional information.

Report crimes to the police

If someone has subjected you to a crime - fraud, threat, theft - you should also report it to the police. Our platform handling doesn't replace legal handling. We can suspend a user and limit the damage, but a police report is needed to investigate and prosecute.

False reports

We take reports seriously. If you report someone without grounds, or repeatedly report the wrong user, your own account may receive warnings or be suspended.
