Gigförmedlingen is a Swedish services marketplace. We connect people who need help with people who can offer it - from handiwork and household services to tutoring, care, digital assistance, and everything in between.

Why we exist

We believe a good marketplace should be more than a bulletin board. It should be safe, clear, and fair - for both the person seeking help and the person offering their services. We're building Gigförmedlingen to simplify the meeting between customer and provider, with transparent fees and no hidden costs, and a pricing system that accommodates market rates, reduced prices for greater accessibility, training rates for portfolio building, and voluntary work for those who simply want to help.

• Community. We believe in local help - neighbours, acquaintances, and local professionals.
• Step by step. We're building the platform in stages. Identity verification, platform payments, and reviews are planned for future versions.

Where we are right now

Gigförmedlingen is open in Early Access. In the first version, customers and providers contact each other directly and agree on the task, price, and payment themselves. This is a deliberate choice - we want our first version to work flawlessly before we add more features.
